"Once again thank you for taking so much trouble with the music for Joanna's wedding. The whole feel of the service was ethereal thanks to your wonderful music. We have received so many compliments and just wanted to pass this on to you. The reception music was great too and added to the ambience of the palm court. It was a day we will remember for the rest of our lives."

Stradella Strings is a fresh, exciting and glamorous violin and cello duo that specialises in original arrangements of famous classics, light jazz, gypsy and pop music.

As a 'light' music ensemble Stradella Strings perform for Corporate Events, Weddings, Private Parties and Cruises. Recent venues include The Bloomsbury Theatre, RMC Members Club, The London Oratory, Tower of London, Blenheim Palace and St. Paul's Cathedral. Future engagements include playing in the forthcoming Lyceum Concert Series and performances at 'The Tuscan Paradise' Summer Music Festival, Italy, in 2008.

Formed whilst studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the duo have performed recitals at many venues in the U.K including the Wigmore Hall, St. James Piccadilly, Southwark Cathedral, The Lyceum and various music clubs throughout the country. Leanne and Abigail have also taken part in masterclasses with members of The Takacs Quartet, The Florestan Piano Trio, The Chillingirian Quartet and The Vellinger Quartet.

Leanne won both violin and piano scholarships to Wells Cathedral School in 1993 where she studied for five years. She completed her education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she gained an honours degree in 2002. During her time at G.S.M.D. Leanne has performed as a chamber and orchestral musician, in over fifty countries worldwide and in all the major London concert venues. As a soloist she has played at Wells Cathedral, St George's Brandon Hill, Bishops Palace, St-Martin-In-The-Fields and St.John's Waterloo with the Southbank Sinfonia, with which she was a member in 2003.

Leanne has recorded solo works by Karg-Elert and Nicholas Chouveux for the National Sound Archive and recorded a solo CD in aid of The Prince's Trust with The Dorset Male Voice Choir. She has also appeared as a guest soloist with the Llanelli Male Voice Choir in highly acclaimed concerts in both Dorset and Wales. Leanne regularly appears on T.O.T.P.'s, Smash Hits, National Music Awards and CD:UK and enjoys freelancing with various orchestras and chamber groups.Abigail grew up in Ealing, west London and begun learning the cello aged seven. She received scholarships at age 10 to study at both The Purcell School of Music and Trinity College of Music Junior Department, followed by gaining a Bmus hons degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Stefan Popov.

Abigail has played in recitals and soloist in concertos in many of London's concert halls including The Wigmore Hall, The Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Royal Festival hall, Blackheath Concert Halls and St. John's Smith Square. She has also played abroad including tours to Japan, Cyprus and Greece. She has mainly performed as a recitalist and in chamber groups including The Lyceum Trio and in a trio with Ben Wragg and Phillip Fisher in which they were awarded the Harry Isaacs Prize for chamber music performance.
